Watch: Vicky Kaushal is a ‘pookie’ in new gym video

Vicky Kaushal recently called himself a ‘pookie’ in a fun gym video he shared on Instagram. Despite intense workouts, his playful spirit shines through in the clip.
In the video, Vicky can be seen exercising before pausing to lip-sync to the reprised version of Dekha Tenu song from Mr and Mrs Mahi, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. He grooves to the song, matching his moves with the lyrics. However, his fitness coach soon interrupts, making him return to his workout, leaving Vicky looking disappointed. He captioned the video, “Pookie da workout.”

Rajkummar Rao reacted to the post, commenting, “Vicky ka ye wala video bahut kamaal hai. Chhaa(Va) rahe ho sab jagah bhai (This video by Vicky is great. You are everywhere),” hinting at his film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Vicky’s upcoming project Chhava. Responding to it, Kaushal wrote, “Bicky Pleaj. Love you bhai”, referring to the popular dialogue from Rao-starrer Stree.

Fitness coach Kris Gethin jokingly added, “Singing between sets? Not on my watch boyo.” Even Prime Video chimed in, asking, “Why is this workout video 13 hours long?”
Vicky Kaushal is set to perform at the IIFA 2024, taking place from September 27 to 29 at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Ahead of the event, he made a stylish arrival at Abu Dhabi airport, as shared in a video posted by IIFA, captioned, “The josh is beyond high as the extremely talented Vicky Kaushal has arrived for the NEXA IIFA Awards 2024.”
On the work front, Vicky is teaming up again with director Laxman Utekar for Chhaava, a historical drama about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, with Rashmika Mandanna also part of the cast. He’s also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
